The Current State of Drama Content Through the Eyes of a Coach for the NHK Morning Drama Anpan
Overview
In Japan, the form and style of media content continue to evolve and diversify in response to changing viewer needs and everyday lifestyles.
In this talk session, we welcome Mr. Takamasa Fujima (class of 2021, graduate school), who served as a movement and gesture coach, and Ms. Sachi Kadowaki (class of 2020, graduate school), who provided vocal coaching for the NHK morning drama Anpan.
They will discuss the collaborative process behind the filming of the iconic “Yosakoi-bushi” scene, sharing insights into on-set dynamics, the roles of behind-the-scenes staff, and their personal experiences.
